William Graham Everson, 1879-1954, was a minister, writer, military officer and college president. Everson was born in Wooster, Ohio and was ordained a Baptist minister in 1897. That year he entered Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana and received his bachelor of divinity degree in 1908. While a student he enlisted in the Indiana National Guard.
